The Republic Day is celebrated every year on January 26.
It was the Lahore Session of the Indian National Congress at midnight of December 31, 1929 – January 1, 1930, that the Tricolour was unfurled by nationalists and a pledge taken that every year on January 26 “Independence Day” would be celebrated and that the people would unceasingly strive for the establishment of a Sovereign Democratic Republic of India. We present India’s first Prime Minister’s reminisces about the Lahore Session.
President Rajendra Prasad’s reply to the speech of the Doyen of the Diplomatic Corps at the Banquet in Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, on January 26, 1950, after India was formally declared a Republic, strikes a formal note.
Some of the Best Patriotic Songs:
  1. ae mere vatan ke logo, jara aankh me bhar lo pani
  2. Film roja ka gana hai ’ bharat humko jaan se pyara hai, subse pyara gulsata humara hai’
  3. ’Ae mere pyare vatan, ae mere bichare chaman, tujh pe dil kurbaan’
  4. * ’Panchi nadiya pawan ke jhoke, koi sarhad na inhe roke’
  5. * ’jan gan man adhinakyak jai he, bharat bhagya vidhata ’
  6. * Vande maataram, sujalaam sufalaam, malayaj sheetalaam’
How I remember praticing and singing on each of the National day celebrations @school / college 😀

  1. This is a very nice effort…yup we’re all proud to be Indians – and its nice to be reminded of that.
Just like its said that for relationships to work, its important to show your love – so it is with our relationship with our motherland…it is important to show we love her.
