The Language of love knows no conflict

There is major difference between intention and desire.
Most of our actions happen through intention.

Desire is the feverishness; an intention with feverishness great hurry to achieve is desire.

A desire devoid of feverishness with calmness is intention.
Letting go of the feverishness brings into the centeredness. Feel one with the divinity.

I am part of you I am you, you are me. This is the slogan of love.

The nature of Love is feeling oneness. Do you feel the same way with this existence with this divinity? Do you feel the part of this globe, part of the air, part of this ocean? Do you feel you have merged with this existence that is divine Love?

Love is not an emotion it is our very existence.

The Language of love knows no conflict. If there is conflict just ignore it, be indifferent to it (Udaseenta).
Indifference takes you beyond the opposite of love and hate:)

I welcome you

Higher state of consciousness

I spent my Friday reading more on higher state of consciousness and discussing with a lovely friend about various aspects of the same – what not we discussed… from ancient times, to present, to traps and the actual practices, and where all one can make mistakes, and how to be back on the path.

Came across this wonderful article by Sri Sri Ravishankar, and felt like sharing a few important points from the same here:

The higher state of consciousness is somewhere in between the waking, sleeping and dreaming states. Here, we know we “are” but we don’t know “where” we are. This knowledge that I “am,” but I don’t know “where” I am or “what” I am, is called Shiva. This state gives the deepest possible rest that one can experience. And one can achieve this through meditation.

Cosmic consciousness perceives the whole universe as part of oneself. When we perceive the world as a part of us, love flows strongly between the world and us. This love empowers us to overcome the opposing forces and the disturbances in life.

One just needs to learn the art of letting go. The confluence of knowledge, understanding and practice makes life complete. When you grow into higher states of consciousness, you find that you are no longer thrown off-balance by different situations and disturbances. You become strong yet soft — a delicate and beautiful individual capable of accommodating different values in life without any conditions. As your consciousness opens and the whole system gets physically, mentally and spiritually elevated, your life truly becomes worth living.

Meditation and Detachment

When we sit to meditate, the mind runs here and there and it becomes difficult to concentrate.

The first principle of meditation is to tell yourself that you are “NOT” trying to do anything, you are not “trying” to concentrate; you are just trying to “Be” yourself.

You may have noticed that when someone says something to you, which probably you do not like, your emotions change – you may become upset, or angry, or even insulted.
This happens because you value other people’s opinions more than you value your own.
Others thoughts and opinions affect your happiness and state-of-mind.

If you stay detached, you will not be disturbed. Not just that, you may benefit from what they say.
I wonder if you have ever thought how much time you wasted on thinking what others think about you. So much of the anger is only due to “lack of detachment”.

Regular practice of meditation helps one to become detached and cultivate a habit of staying calm and emotionally detached, not just during the meditation period, but throughout day.
Once you practice any kind of meditation, you’ll experience detachment and you will find that you feel and behave in a different way under circumstances that previously invoked anger or agitation. You will find that you can handle your daily affairs of life in a calm and relaxed way.

Real detachment means inner strength, and the ability to function calmly and with full inner control under all circumstances.

A detached person is not anxious, harassed and hurried, and can do everything with concentration and attention, thus insuring a successful outcome of his actions.
